I earned a BSA from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Agriculture in 2005 with a major in animal science and a minor in rangeland resources. I’ve enjoyed a career in both the provincial and federal governments as well as a non-profit partnership, primarily focused in prairie grassland management.
Now I’m self-employed, working on forage, beef, and communications projects and as a freelance writer for many beef and forage organizations and publications. I have a special interest in communicating applied and scientific research to producers as well as developing effective social media content.
My regular column and blog for two newspapers is about life on my family’s ranch in southwest Saskatchewan, where my husband and I are raising four kids and running a purebred and commercial Gelbvieh cow-calf operation.
