Humboldt
Even since I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a writer. With a bachelor’s in English and a bachelor of journalism I’ve made that dream come true and have spent nearly seven years as a journalist and freelancer.
During that time, I’ve also been the editor of a small city newspaper and a municipal affairs reporter for northern Saskatchewan. Growing up on a small pig and grain farm near Humboldt, I jumped at opportunities to write about farming in Saskatchewan and I’ve talked with farmers and ranchers across the province about issues that are close to them, including mental health, entrepreneurship, and conservation.
I’m currently a web editor and agriculture feature writer for Jim Pattison Broadcast Group in Prince Albert, and live in Humboldt with my husband and our three furbabies.
